The idea
Telling a sixteen year old to recycle does not work. Giving them points, an avatar that evolves and a ranking with their friends in it, does.
One green action can be logged each day. Each action awards points according to its impact, points raise your level, and the level changes your avatar.
What was inside
- Global ranking with real time scores and public profiles.
- Interactive map with nearby green points, recycling centres and parks.
- Lifestyle survey with personalised recommendations.
- Profile with progress, action history, achievements and notifications.
Status
The app was complete and working at the time of submission, on Firestore for storage and Firebase Auth for sign in.
