About

How it started

I remember waiting for my mother to finish work, sitting at the computer in her office. That is where it started, poking at things without really knowing what I was touching.

When I was eleven my parents gave me a Raspberry Pi 2. Learning to use it led me to Python, from Python to HTML, CSS and JavaScript, and from there to Java and SQL. Nobody assigned any of it, and I think that is the part that matters.

The PaellaCON talk

That same year I wrote a school assignment about what I wanted to do for a living. I said I wanted to be an ethical hacker. The school principal mentioned it to Angelucho, one of the best known cybersecurity communicators in Spain, and I ended up on stage at the first edition of PaellaCON talking about children and hacking.

The competitions

In secondary school and at university I wrote the app for two competitions, and both teams reached the final. ProjecteSOS, an app that gets young people into sustainable habits, at UP! STEAM. ElderEye, a prototype for supporting the care of older adults, at Hackathon Castellón 2024, where we placed third.

Both were written in very little time by teams that had never worked together. I learned more about shipping there than in any course.

Now

I graduated in Computer Engineering from Universitat Jaume I on the software engineering track, with a GPA of 9.43 out of 10 and the Ernest Breva academic excellence award in two consecutive years.

I work as a software engineer at Nealis Tech, designing bespoke AI applications, agents and orchestration workflows. Before that I automated the UI testing of an IoT platform with Playwright and built the portal where the team reviews the run history. In my final year I researched cluster based federated learning with the GEOTEC group.
