QA Engineer Intern

I automated the UI testing of an IoT platform and built the portal where the team reviews test runs.

The platform was tested by hand before every release. I wrote the UI test suite with Playwright and prepared it to run in parallel.

Then I built a web portal with the run history, so anyone on the team could see what failed, when, and with which data, without opening a log.

OutcomeThe QA cycle moved from manual review to a suite that runs on its own and leaves a trace.

Federated Learning Researcher

Research collaboration scholarship: cluster based federated learning for IoT environments.

In federated learning devices train locally and only share the model, never the data. The problem shows up when the devices differ a lot: a single global model ends up mediocre for everyone.

I researched and built a system that groups nodes into clusters by behaviour and trains one model per cluster, evaluating it against typical IoT conditions such as intermittent connectivity and limited compute.

OutcomeCo-author of two conference papers and one scientific article, in the publication process.

BSc Computer Engineering, Software Engineering track

GPA 9.43 out of 10. Ernest Breva Academic Excellence Award in two consecutive years.

The software engineering track is the one closest to what I do now: design, architecture, testing and team work on projects that actually ship.

In my final year I was awarded a research collaboration scholarship with the GEOTEC group.

Team Android developer

Prototype for supporting the care of older adults at home. Third place in its category.

A group of friends and I put together a team for Hackathon Castellón 2024. The idea was that an authorised person, usually a relative, could follow an older adult day to day without taking away their independence.

I wrote the prototype application in Android Studio and Kotlin. We reached the category final and placed third.

Team Android developer

An app that gets young people into sustainable habits. Finalist team.

In my final year of secondary school our physics teacher suggested the class enter a technology competition run by UPV. A few classmates and I formed a team.

We decided to build a game: log actions that are good for the planet, earn points, level up and compete with other users. I was the app developer. We reached the final.

Linux and ethical hacking courses

Three months on the platform, two courses completed with certificates.

At sixteen I paid for three months of a technology course platform and used them to finish two: one on Linux and one introducing ethical hacking.

Invited speaker, aged eleven

Angelucho invited me to talk about children and hacking at the first PaellaCON.

It started with a school assignment about what I wanted to do for a living. I wrote that I wanted to be an ethical hacker. The school principal told a friend of his, Angelucho, one of the best known cybersecurity communicators in Spain.

He invited me to join him on stage at the first edition of PaellaCON, in Valencia. I was eleven. The videos and articles are still online.
